Arnav " Khushi " called out for her loudly from the room

Khushi came into the room hurriedly " Ji Arnavji! you need something ?"

Arnav " Where is my laptop Khushi? "

Khushi " I hid it and you are not getting it until you are perfectly fine and healthy "

Khushi " What what the? " snapped "You have just got home yesterday and you want to do work. You were kidnapped for heaven's sake "

Khushi " Now you rest, I'll come " kissing his cheek walked out the room

Arnav Singh Raizada was not used to following orders but here he was silently following his crazy yet cute wife words without any arguments. He laid down on the bed but got up after sometime as this resting business all day was surely not his cup of tea.

Pacing around the room, he walked off to the poolside deciding to tend his plants. Gardening surely wouldn't upset Khushi, he told himself.

As he stepped into poolside, he was pleasantly surprised to see them all in good condition, carefully cut and heeded with water and all the necessities. His garden was blooming as he had left it. He knew that OP or JP could never tend to his garden like that for sure because except him none had interest in gardening. He had created this place with his own hands and looking at the plants it seemed someone had taken care of them with as much as love as he does.

Nani " Chote "

Arnav turned to see Nani " Nani aap "

Nani " Chote, you're thinking na who took care of your garden in your absence? " smiling " Khushi Bitiya ne kiya "

Arnav " Khushi na? " astonished

Nani " Why are you seeing me like this? You know when you were not here she used to be here and talk to your plants " smiling " Chote now I need not to worry about you anymore because Khushi Bitiya is there with you. You are lucky, Chote, you have gotten a girl like Khushi Bitiya who loves you immensely. Don't ever lose her for anything "

Arnav smiled lightly at his Nani's words at the end. She is so right. He's lucky! Lucky for having an angel like Khushi in his life to love him. He cursed himself for hurting his Khushi in the past. Arnav swore to himself in that moment never to hurt his Khushi ever. He will neither hurt her nor let anyone else hurt her. She's his to love, to cherish and to protect.

Arnav " I won't lose Khushi for anything "  with determination

Nani left after spending some time with Arnav.

Khushi entered their room with a glass of kaada. Finding the room empty she was about to call him when she noticed the French door open and she knew he was there. She walked across and there he was tending one of the plants.

Khushi murmured to herself " Can't this man ever rest " taking a deep breath trying not to sound very angry " Arnavji " seeing Arnav turned towards her " I told you to rest "

Arnav " I know Khushi but I was getting very bored laying down so I came here for some fresh air " smiled "And Khushi gardening is not some work right perhaps you know. I don't even think I need to do anything here. See Khushi its all perfect, everything is same as I left it as "

A fond smile appeared on her Khushi's face seeing him genuinely satisfied with his garden. It was dear to him maybe that was the reason in his absence she has taken to it in his absence. She had spent her maximum time here as it always gave her a sense of belongings to him, talking to the plants he tended to with so much love and now seeing him happy about it she was feeling elated.

Khushi " Really Arnavji,you liked it " with enthusiasm

Arnav " Of course Khushi! I loved it and you know what I am thinking of giving OP a pay rise as he has finally learnt to tend to my garden "
